About the Foundation
The Wits Foundation UK is an independent charitable organisation established to support the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Foundation and its trustees are committed to assisting Wits to build on its strengths as a great university justly admired for its globally competitive standards of excellence in learning, teaching, and research. Our aim is to promote greater awareness of the enormous contribution Wits makes, to secure financial support for Wits, and to keep alumni in contact with their alma mater.

Wits University’s teaching and research can only be sustained with the continued support of its global network of alumni and friends. Your donation directly benefits Wits students today and in the future. You can make an unrestricted gift to be allocated at the Vice-Chancellor’s discretion, or you can request that your donation be for a specific purpose at Wits.
